Understanding how EdTech has evolved and grown over the last few years in Pakistan and what lies ahead

Growth in Digital Learning Platforms

The EdTech sector in Pakistan has seen a significant rise in the number of digital learning platforms, particularly driven by the need for remote learning solutions during the COVID-19 pandemic.


Increased Investment and Interest

There has been a noticeable increase in investment in the EdTech sector, both from local and international investors. A few startups have secured funding to enhance their offerings, which indicates investors’ recognition of the market potential.

Challenges with Internet Access

Despite advancements, the EdTech sector faces challenges due to uneven internet access and digital literacy, especially in rural areas. This digital divide has limited the impact of EdTech solutions in less developed regions, highlighting the need for improved infrastructure.

Government Initiatives

The Pakistani government has started to recognize the importance of EdTech, with initiatives like TeleSchool and eTaleem, which have emphasized the need for digital tools in education. However, implementation and reach remain ongoing challenges.

As technology adoption grows in Pakistan, a dedicated initiative is needed to bring together EdTech stakeholders, share best practices, connect buyers with sellers, showcase innovative solutions, and facilitate investor-founder connections, ultimately driving effective tech integration in learning spaces.

A series of conferences, webinars, meetups and social media communities for the growing ecosystem of key EdTech stakeholders covering all spaces from K-to-Gray.

EdTech Pakistan aims to organize an annual flagship conference, bringing together key stakeholders for discussions, networking, and B2B exchanges help sellers connect with buyers via events and social media communities facilitate investor-founder connections share industry updates via email newsletters and other channels.
